AN IMMERSIVE COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE
Dakota River Bend was created with the intent to provide a space for avid Red Dead Redemption fans. The founding team grew tired of disappointing updates for the online gameplay, and so they set out to create their own RDO. A place where players would receive regular updates, active moderation against toxic players, contribute their own thoughts and ideas towards future updates, and start their own stories.
Not a native keyboard and mouse player? No problem!
Our server is controller friendly, with the majority of our in game functionalities supporting controller inputs.
Casual RP
What is it?
We consider casual RP to be a style that is receptive to inexperienced roleplay and the mistakes that often come with it, however basic roleplay etiquette is still relevant and enforced. You can learn more about roleplay etiquette here!
We want players of all experience levels to feel welcome and comfortable, taking their time to acclimate to the world of RP, and the many treasures it holds.
This also means, that your roleplay experience does not need to be backstory driven. We encourage first timers to join our server as themselves, in 1899.
